Woodland Management Expertise
The management of woodlands in the UK is carried out for a variety of different reasons; woodlands may hold high economic value due to standing timber products, game bird habitat, and recreational use and for conservation purposes. Management of woodlands for these uses is essential to provide a viable product or the correct sort of ecosystem for conservation.
In unmanaged woodland, where little or no human activity occurs, conditions will usually be dark and damp and only a few species will dominate. Less light entering the understory will mean less plant species and so the biodiversity will probably decrease.
It is therefore, important to manage most forms of woodland so that structural diversity is maintained and, if so desired, products may be harvested from the woodland.
Working closely with industry professionals, EnviroAqua have a great level of experience within the woodland sector. All activities are fully insured and operatives hold relevant NPTC chainsaw and related qualifications and insurance.
